Hellaflush 3.5 at Buttonwillow Raceway Park

R.A.D. Experience went to Buttonwillow Raceway Park on February 21 for the Hellaflush 3.5 event.

The event gathered a very good amount of drivers, spectators and media.

One of our sponsors, Green Oil, was also present on the event to show support.

Aside from the car enthusiasts from North and South of California, there were drivers that came from Nevada and New Jersey (or is is just the plate?)

The track was divided into two: the Grip drivers went full speed on the West loop

(Fatlace's Lotus Elise)

while the Drifters smoked the apex' of the East loop.

We also found the FD RX-7 of Formula D driver Calvin Wan doing some practice laps for the coming Formula D season.

After lunch time,

it is time for the drift team tandem competition. There were six groups that went with crazy angles.

At the end of the day, team Dori Saru got Green Oil products, a radiator and $10 (yes, ten bucks) for winning 3rd place.

Team Miley Does Dallas won 2nd place and got Green Oil products and 4 radiators as prizes.

1st place went to team Switch Blade - Mickie Frial, Dave Westfalland and Flybert Chris

and won Green Oil products and $1000 cash.

After a fun filled day, we found this group going home NorCal style with their S13 vert!
